On a recent whole-main-level project in Germantown, the homeowners hosted parties constantly — but their kitchen was walled off behind three arches, with a small island and a worn wood floor. We removed the arched wall to open the kitchen to the living, family, and dining rooms; replaced the floor with large-format tile; and replaced the small island with a very large one — the kind twenty guests actually gather around.

Then the detail that makes the difference: because this family entertains so much, we added a second sink at the window and a second dishwasher. Cleanup after a party no longer takes until midnight. That's what we mean by designing to the problem, not just the request.

You confirm a fixed quote before anything begins, and it doesn't change without your written approval. We've honored that even when a 55% mid-project tariff meant absorbing the cost ourselves.
