Where the promise began.
IVORAH began with a simple understanding: the meaning of a home is not measured by its size, but by how thoughtfully it supports the people who live there.
That belief comes from our founder's childhood "Sam Narayanan", when his family of four shared one carefully organized room. It later grew through his experience in design and his work helping major Fortune 500 companies simplify complex processes and create accountability from beginning to end.
Travels across Europe, Asia, and Mexico introduced him to skilled makers, manufacturers, materials, and customization possibilities that were often difficult for homeowners to access.
That search for makers is now IVORAH's supply line: cabinetry, hardware, and doors; tile and natural stone from India and China; stone-carved bathtubs; lighting and large-scale glass — sourced directly, without a middleman. And the studio is genuinely local: our founder has spent 20 years in the Memphis area and the last 12 living in Collierville, where IVORAH is based.
He created IVORAH to bring those worlds together: thoughtful design, trusted craftsmanship, disciplined project coordination, and one accountable team making it all move as a single project.
Today, IVORAH coordinates design, sourcing, build, and delivery as one connected experience—giving homeowners clarity, confidence, and peace of mind from the discovery call to final handover.
The studio is based in Collierville, Tennessee and serves greater Memphis.

Every company says it stands behind its price. Here's when we proved it: midway through a whole-main-level project in Germantown, import tariffs jumped to 55% — and the client had a hard deadline. We had promised the price wouldn't change. So it didn't. We absorbed the tariff, paid three times the normal freight to land an 18-day expedited shipment, and delivered on time. The job earned us no profit and one very happy client — and taught us exactly what “Built on a Promise” costs. We'd pay it again.
We're consultants, not order-takers. We start by understanding the problem — how you live, what the house won't let you do — and design the solution, shown to you in 2D plans and AI-generated 3D views before anything is built. Materials and price are fixed before you confirm; licensed contractors we've vetted (license checks, site visits, and conversations with their past clients) do the work under one IVORAH project manager.
