LIVEIN LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company that operates the Ivorah brand ("Ivorah", "we", "us", or "our"), is a design-build studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use the Ivorah website (ivorah.com) and the Ivorah customer app (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored as a salted hash).
- Profile photo (optional, uploaded by you).
- Project information: project address, city, state, ZIP code, latitude/longitude, site-contact name and phone, and billing address.
- Photos and design files: cover photos, moodboard images, and design PDFs you or your IVORAH team upload for your project.
- Payment information: handled through Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers.
- Contract information: your digital signature name, the IP address from which a contract is signed, and timestamps.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device type, operating system version, app version, device identifiers, and mobile push-notification tokens (via PostHog analytics).
- Crash and error reports: error reports and stack traces collected via Sentry to diagnose problems.
- Approximate location: derived from the address you provide and, with your permission, precise GPS during booking.
c. Information from Third Parties
We do not buy or rent personal data from third parties. Payment information comes from Stripe only.
d. Discovery-Call Recordings
Discovery calls handled through our internal Ivorah Pro tool may be recorded and stored in Cloudflare R2, and the transcript may be sent to Anthropic, PBC (operator of the Claude AI model) for automated summarization, so your IVORAH team can prepare your brief. You will be told before any call is recorded.
e. Information from Professionals Who Join IVORAH
If you apply to work with IVORAH as a designer or contractor, we additionally collect license numbers, license documents, and background-check status.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Assign and coordinate your dedicated IVORAH project manager and team.
- Schedule and run your site visit.
- Prepare your quote, design, and material schedule.
- Manage and deliver your project.
- Process payments.
- Provide support.
- Improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Who We Share Your Information With
Service providers
We share information with vendors that help us run the Service. They may use it only to provide services to us:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — file storage (R2), DNS.
- Firebase / Google LLC — push notifications.
- Resend — transactional email.
- Mapbox — address geocoding.
- Anthropic, PBC — AI summarization of discovery-call transcripts.
- PostHog — product analytics.
- Sentry — crash and error reporting.
- Railway Corp. — application and database hosting.
Your IVORAH project team
To deliver your project, we share the information needed — such as your address, scope, photos, and messages — with the IVORAH team and the licensed professionals we engage and manage to work on your project: your project manager, designer, and the licensed contractor assigned to build it. These professionals receive your information only to perform work on your project under IVORAH's direction, are bound by confidentiality obligations, and may not use it for their own purposes.
Legal and safety
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
Business transfers
If Ivorah is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and analytics. Our mobile app uses local storage equivalents (secure storage, shared preferences) for the same purposes.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You may request the following in relation to your personal information:
- Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Deletion: request deletion of your personal information. You may also delete your account directly through the app at Settings → Delete account or by submitting our deletion request form. Some information may be retained to comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax records).
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate information.
- Portability: request your personal information in a portable format.
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for behavioral advertising — which we do not do.

California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"). We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Tennessee Residents
If you are a Tennessee resident, you have substantially similar rights under the Tennessee Information Protection Act. Contact hello@ivorah.com to exercise them.
Other U.S. States
If your state grants additional rights (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others), you may exercise them by contacting hello@ivorah.com.
6. Data Retention
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax and accounting records for the period required by Tennessee and federal law, generally seven years).
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage of passwords (bcrypt-class hashing), and restricted access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Transfers
The Service is hosted in the United States. Your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact hello@ivorah.com and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites linked from the Service. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post updates with a new date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
