Bathroom remodeling in Collierville, built like small architecture.
IVORAH is an interior design and remodeling company based in Collierville, Tennessee — and when we say based here, we mean it. Our founder has spent 20 years in the Memphis area and the last 12 living right here in Collierville. When we remodel a bathroom in Schilling Farms, Halle Plantation, or one of the older homes near the historic Town Square, we're working in our own neighborhood.
A bathroom is the smallest room in the house and the least forgiving. Waterproofing, drainage, tile layout, ventilation, and millwork all have to land in a few dozen square feet — which is why we design and build with the same team, on a fixed quote, rather than handing drawings to whoever picks up the phone.
What a bathroom remodel costs in Collierville.
We’d rather give you real numbers than “it depends.” Full design-build remodeling with IVORAH runs $250–$600 per square foot, depending on the materials you choose and how much is custom-made for your home.
As a guide:
- A powder room or hall bath (around 40–60 sq ft) typically lands between $12,000 and $35,000.
- A primary bathroom (100 sq ft and up) typically starts around $25,000 and can reach $60,000+ with stone, custom cabinetry, and a wet room.
Where your project falls in that range is a decision you make with us during design — before you confirm anything. Your approved scope and price are the baseline, and they don't creep. We've honored that promise even when it hurt: on a recent project, import tariffs jumped to 55% mid-project and the client had a hard deadline. We had promised the price wouldn't change — so it didn't. We absorbed the tariff, paid three times the normal freight to get an 18-day expedited shipment, and delivered on time. It cost us the profit on that job. The client got exactly what they were promised. That’s what “Built on a Promise” means in practice.
Do you need a permit?
Strictly speaking, a permit isn't required unless the work changes plumbing, electrical, or gas — but almost every real bathroom remodel does at least one of those. In practice, IVORAH pulls permits on nearly every project, and we handle the process with the Town of Collierville for you. Rough-ins are inspected against the same drawings we built the design from, so nothing gets closed up behind tile that an inspector — or a future buyer — would question.
Materials, not marked up through a middleman.
We maintain direct relationships with the makers of what goes into your bathroom:
- Tile and natural stone imported directly from India and China
- Bathroom cabinets and vanities built in wood, plywood, or MDF and finished in tile or stone
- Stone-carved bathtubs — carved from a single block, not molded
- Mirrors, hardware, and lighting from the same direct-sourcing network
You finalize every material and color with us during design, before the estimate is confirmed — so the bathroom you approve is the bathroom that gets built.
How your remodel actually runs.
- Discovery call — a free hour to understand what you want to change and whether we're the right fit.
- On-site measurement and photos at your Collierville home.
- 2D floor plan plus AI-generated 3D views, so you see the room before anyone lifts a hammer.
- Materials, colors, and estimate finalized — you confirm; the price is now the promise.
- Install-team measurement — our crew re-measures to the millimeter.
- Production drawings from our suppliers, checked against a final on-site re-measure.
- Your final approval, then build.
You can change the design freely until the production drawings are approved. After that, they're locked — which is exactly what protects your timeline and your price.
Who does the work?
Licensed contractors and skilled trades, engaged and managed by IVORAH. We vet every contractor three ways: we verify their license, we visit their previous job sites, and we talk to the homeowners they worked for. One IVORAH project manager stays your single point of contact from first sketch to final handover.
And because we're consultants first, we don't just take orders. If the layout you've sketched will fight the plumbing stack, or the tile you love will look wrong at your room's scale, we'll tell you — and show you the better answer in 3D before you spend a dollar on it.
Collierville bathroom remodel FAQs.
How much does a bathroom remodel cost in Collierville?
$250–$600 per square foot, full design-build. A powder room typically runs $12,000–$35,000; a primary bath from $25,000 to $60,000+ depending on materials and customization. You get a fixed quote before you commit.
Do I need a permit to remodel a bathroom in Collierville?
Only if plumbing, electrical, or gas changes — which most remodels involve. IVORAH pulls the permit and manages inspections with the Town of Collierville on nearly every project.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Design takes about 3–5 weeks. Build time is roughly 3–5 weeks for a powder room and 6–10 weeks for a primary suite, depending on scope.
Who actually does the work?
Licensed contractors vetted by IVORAH — license verified, past job sites visited, previous clients interviewed — and managed daily by your IVORAH project manager.
Can I change my mind after confirming the design?
Yes — up until the production drawings are approved. After that the design is locked, which is how we protect your price and your schedule.
What if something doesn't fit?
Our install crew measures your room to the millimeter, suppliers produce from those drawings, and we re-measure on site before final approval. Fit problems get caught on paper, not in your bathroom.
Is there a warranty?
Warranty coverage depends on the project and the materials you choose — most come with a one-year warranty. The exact coverage for your selections is spelled out before you confirm your estimate.
What are the payment terms?
Design starts with a $500 site-visit package: the on-site visit and measurements, your 2D floor plan and AI-generated 3D views, material finalization, and your estimate. If you move forward, the $500 is credited toward your project; if you decide not to, it's non-refundable. After you approve, payments follow the project: 50% on approval, 20% when your products ship, 20% during installation, and the final 10% at the walkthrough — once you've approved the finished work.
